Job Description

• Run Inventory Status Report before 8AM daily. • Review repair plan with production and NAVL prioritizing repair inventory based off part availability. • Coordinate shipments between DTP, CLI, and Vreeland. • Attend Daily DPP Calls for critical part shortages to determine repair availability. • Schedule weekend repair support with Material Handling. • Complete weekly Inventory summary for LPPM. • Lead Daily 12:30 DTP Draw Down meeting for DTP.
Skills Required:
• Strong ability to interface with plant hourly personnel, salaried personnel, plant management, staff operations, logistics carriers, and production suppliers • Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making capability • Ability to work well under pressure and manage high-pressure situations when necessary • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Suite) • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in “One FORD” behaviors, including outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
Skills Preferred:
• Degree in or related to Material Handling, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Packing Engineering preferred • Experience in scheduling, distribution, supply chain, inventory planning, bill of material, change control, new model launch, logistics, material handling line feed processes, nonproduction stores, material flow, FCSD, production and material management systems desired
Experience Required:
• 25+ years progressive manufacturing and/or material handling experience • Experience with high-level management of facility –wide material handling initiatives • Experience supervising salaried employees, including managers
Experience Preferred:
• Experience in scheduling, distribution, supply chain, inventory planning, bill of material, change control, new model launch, logistics, material handling line feed processes, nonproduction stores, material flow, FCSD, production and material management systems desired.
Education Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
Education Preferred:
• Degree in or related to Material Handling, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Packing Engineering preferred
