Job Description

Manage software test program on assigned vehicles. Module Debugging. * Work with Feature Owners and Module Owners to create and manage vehicle evaluation plans. based on feature maturity, software delivery (Agile) from vehicle definition to vehicle decommissioning. * Incorporate Agile Testing Principles into test plan design. * Ensure software integrity and traceability on test vehicles is maintained. * Work with Hardware-in-Loop, Breadboard, suppliers and systems teams to ensure that tests conducted on vehicles with correct versions of software and hardware. * Support daily issue management and triage meetings with evaluators to ensure that all findings are captured, logged and distributed accurately using JIRA and following the established processes. * Coordinate handoffs and drive events with vehicle engineering and chief program engineers to support vehicle drives. * Root cause and fix electrical issues on vehicles as they arise. Conduct simple CAN signal analysis, take logs, videos as needed to support issue investigation. * Own vehicle integrity including making sure that program assigned vehicles are maintained, safe, and any required hardware or camouflage requirements on vehicles are met. * Support weekly reporting to management.
Skills Required:
* Understanding of GPDS deliverables and basic Ford engineering tools (AVBOM/ Bill of Material / AIMS / 5Ds / eFDVS / Engineering Sign Off / DFMEA / Six Sigma/WORQ/JIRA) desired. * Knowledge of CANalyzer, vehicle logging tools, issue management systems (JIRA, DOORS etc.). * MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Access etc.) proficiency required * Program launch experience is desirable * Ability to handle sophisticated tasks and complicated situations under compressed timing * Outstanding planning, organizational and project management skills with accurate follow-up to accomplish multiple objectives * Strong One Ford Leadership Behaviors with confirmed ability to drive and deliver results * Effective written and oral presentation skills * Ability to build strong effective relationships with multi-functional teams (Program, Studio, * Purchasing, Core Body Engineering, VE, VI, VO, VEV) and to work well with people at all levels of the organization. * Certified Automotive Technician

* BS Degree in technical or business field combined with technical experience * Automotive Technician Certifications highly preferred Minimum requirements” HS/GED with 2 years post high school coursework * 2+ years experience with vehicle software or software engineering validation * 2+ years experience in automotive electrical systems * Valid Drivers license required. Ability to drive yourself to and from locations such as Romeo Proving Grounds and Dearborn required
