Job Description

Ability to manage Safety, Quality and Efficiency to ensure all operational objectives are met or exceeded through standardized work procedures. Develop, train and motivate hourly employees under your direction. Administer corrective action when appropriate. Possess excellent follow up skills through assignment completion. Promote teamwork and resolve labor issues in a timely manner. Work with your peers and employees towards obtaining objectives. Support all operations of the business (i.e. Inbound, Outbound, Inspection, Quality, Inventory, Production Control, Claims, Shipping, Receiving, Traffic) Support and participate in all Quality initiatives. Ensure all Company policies and procedures are enforced. Support and back fill teammates when they are on vacation or out of the building. Support a healthy and safe work environment by addressing unsafe acts and conditions immediately Facilitate crew meetings
Skills Required:
Supervise, develop, and motivate UAW hourly employees in a fast paced warehouse environment. Promote teamwork, resolve issues quickly, and administer corrective action when appropriate Work with peers and employees to continually make process improvements. Support and participate in all CIP, PICS, and Quality initiatives. Champion all safety processes and initiatives Ensure all Company policies and procedures are enforced Demonstrate effective written and verbal communications skills. Knowledge of Windows based programs (Excel, Word, Power Point). Excellent problem analysis and decision making skills.
Skills Preferred:
Position Duties: Work closely with Warehouse Supervisor Lead and Superintendent to ensure the following tasks/metrics are delivered…including but not limited to: Building safety and overall building organization/ cleanliness UAW relationships and application of the Ford-UAW national and local contracts Quality (error rate, denial rate, IB processing, inventory accuracy) Warehouse operations (manpower planning, LPMH, process adherence, PICS, accountability, grid time, OTD) Warehouse administration (customer satisfaction, overtime, absenteeism, ISO 14001 Environmental Compliance)
Experience Required:
SAP Program Proficiency DPA Warehousing experience preferred. Experienced knowledge in EWM/TWOS/MMP/OHSIM. Ability to effectively manage within UAW environment. Results Driven Project Management
