Department of Veterans Affairs Nationwide BPA
The VA awarded this BPA to offer its customers, on a national basis, a vehicle that will expedite the referral and selection of qualified Clinical Executives, Physicians and Non-Physician clinical providers to fill current and future vacancies. The purpose of this BPA is to aid in the recruitment of historically “hard to fill” positions throughout the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Sygnetics was one of two contractors awarded this national contract.
The yearly estimated quantities for the required job categories are as follows:
1. Physicians: National Recruitment for 100 positions
2. Clinical Pharmacists: National Recruitment for 40 positions
3. Nurse/Nurse Practitioners: National Recruitment for 80 positions
4: Other Clinical Support: National Recruitment for 140 positions
5: Clinical Executives: National Recruitment for 25 positions
Primary Care Physician Services for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center
Sygnetics provides Primary Care Physician Services for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center (BCVAMC). The Primary Care Physicians provided are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Primary Care Physicians services are provided at the BCVAMC Primary Care Clinic and at the following Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) locations: Lansing CBOC, Muskegon CBOC, Benton Harbor CBOC, Wyoming CBOC
Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) Services for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center
Sygnetics provides Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) Physician Services for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. The Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) is directly responsible for the care of patients in acute medical unit, Community Living Center (CLC), and urgent care.
Psychiatry Services VA Central Iowa Health Care System
Sygnetics provides onsite Psychiatry services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Central Iowa Health Care System –Des Moines, Iowa (VA-CIHCS). The psychiatrists’ care covers the range of Psychiatry services (outpatient, in patient) as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care treatment facility and the standard of care is of the quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Psychiatric Association.
Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Staffing BPA
Sygnetics provides various administrative support services as needed to accomplish departmental goals and program objectives. The BPA covers a broad range various administrative support services that the Administration for Children and Families may require to support effective operations of HHS. Includes Administrative Assistant Support, Human Resources Services, and Program Management.
Operation Military Kids (OMK) Youth Specialist
Sygnetics provides the Ohio National Guard (ONG) Operation: Military Kids (OMK) support to assist with the State Youth Program. The dependents of Soldiers & Airmen, as well as other Ohio Service Members and families, face challenges unique to growing up in a military family. The State Youth Program provides opportunities for military youth to spend time together with others in their situation at youth camps, mobilization workshops and camaraderie events. Sygnetics’ support includes the planning, execution, and implementation of the State Youth Program.
Human Resources and Business Support Services
Sygnetics provides a full range of staffing and recruitment, classification, and policy services such as: performing cradle to grave recruitment actions; drafting and revising policy; position classification; conducting research, providing advice, preparing documentation, and assisting others and the office as needed.
Human Resources Support
Sygnetics provides Human Resources Assistant services to the Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), District of Nevada. The HR Assistant provides assistance to the human resources officer, human resources specialist, and office employees, including other managers on a variety of personnel related issues.
Sygnetics supported the VA alongside the DELL Corporation on a 4 year, 600,000 Image and Installation desktop contract, which included all 1,200 VA Medical Centers in all 50 States including VI and PR. This opportunity was a set-aside contract for SDVOSBs and Sygnetics represented one of four SDVOSBs awarded this contract. Sygnetics was selected as the primary recruiting personnel supplier and provided 42% of all personnel over the duration of the contract. Over the life of the contract, Sygnetics alone recruited and fully vetted to NACI level a total of 504 personnel in 38 states to support this effort. The contract’s duration varied based on facility size, number of installation technicians requested, and total number of devices to be installed. The duration of assignments ranged from two weeks to over one year, with the average duration of assignments at approximately 30-45 days.
