Job Description
Manage work plan rollup of Prog Commodity Planning, Sourcing, Supplier Quote and CPA processes o Align with X-functional team on surrogate and control model selection o Coordinate SALT assumption inputs from PD and achievement of sourcing work plans o Coordinate commodity selection and achievement of Prog target for Best of Best / Best of Process o Compile and Update initial Sourcing Tracker / SWT (Sourcing WorkPlan Tool) or ASAP (Advanced Sourcing Automated Process) o Consolidate rollup of target setting status aligned with Prog requirements using commodity waterfalls o Achieve X-functional alignment and deliver sourcing to meet Supplier Engineering on-Board Dates – coordinate SIR requirements as needed o Ensure on-time completion of ESOW / ATT III with PMTs to support sourcing o Attend Sourcing PAT (Prog Activity Team) and cascade status and help required to Commodity Execution o Coordinate input from Commodity Execution and Finance to support Prog financial requirements o Coordinate Prog localization requirements and Prog changes that could require significant capital investment • Support Purch Strategy on pre- Prog planning • Coordinate Purch support required for Prog manufacturing cost studies, ILVS/sequencing studies, make vs buy studies • Coordinate overall rollup of tool and purchase order placement. Cascade and coordinate help needed with Commodity Execution. • Represent Purch in NML forums and coordinate help needed with Commodity Execution • Communicate Prog timing, status and requirements to Commodity Execution and Site STA. Establish and communicate Purch resource deployment priorities to support Prog requirements • Overall PoV owner for Purch on Prog - prepare Prog status reports to support Prog reviews • Provide Purch input into GPDS Integrator, corporate BPR and OESAR on Prog status at all milestones • Establish and maintain strong X-functional relationships through demonstrated Company behaviors
